DIOCESAN SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY CENTER “LA COROMOTO”

After almost 20 years of existence, we have decided to amplify our area of influence in education by promoting  a project for a new school at the Mision del Santo Cristo del Capanaparo in La Macanilla.

The project calls for a school of 150 students from kindergarten to senior year of high school. In addition, it will be a community center for adult education, job training and also cultural events, craftsmanship, arts and folklore.

Objectives as a community center:

1. Facilitate the integration of the community.

2. Promote and enhance the importance of work and studies as the center for personal development.

3. Access to culture and work as a human right Support job training, primary health care, arts and sports for the community.

4. Develop joint work with other non for profit  and educational institutions on behalf of the community.

5. Build our premises with the appropriate infrastructure and technology  for the area.

6. Develop and support programs that help and protect gender.
